I know it’s almost the END of the month, but I really like this idea and there is still enough time for anyone reading to follow through with it if they wish to.
What I’d like to do is propose a “Movie of the Month” where you guys just set aside some time to settle down from the hustle and bustle of every day life and just watch a good movie. And it doesn’t have to be just my silly little ideas. Feel free to post yours as well.
In honor of Spike TV’s Star Wars Marathon, this month’s movie is Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope.
Why you should watch:
- It’s the first movie in an AMAZING series made by an AMAZING man.
- It takes place a long long time ago, for all of you history buffs. (And in a galaxy far far away , for all of you astronomy buffs).
- Battle sequences for the men
- Han Solo for the women
- Amazing technology
- Just a plain great story and enjoyably movie
Reasons not to watch:
- Your father was killed by Palpatine’s apprentice
- You lack the ability to enjoy good movies
- You are of the Hut family
- You hate those darn rebels!
Well, that’s all for now. If you can, you should get to the theatres to see The Forbidden Kingdom. Juno is also a good movie and is out on DVD, and Cloverfield is out next week.
